Who Am I?

I’m Rick, the President of Gravitas SEO. I’ve been doing search engine optimization since 1999, when I first started promoting a legal website for a friend in San Diego. Search engine optimization was a very different game back then, and it has been interesting to watch the field grow to the point where it has become a must for any business that wants to have an internet presence and make money online.

There are many different ways to go about search engine optimization. Some work well and some don’t. The problem is many people get so overwhelmed with information that they “lose the forest for the trees”. By this, I mean that they lose site of the goal. Your goal is not to get high rankings on Google for as many phrases as possible. Your goal is not to generate huge heaps of traffic to your site. No, your goal is to make money.
